Google Analytics 4 (GA4) Integration

With the Google Analytics 4 (GA4) integration, you can track clicks on your redirectors in real time directly from the Google Analytics dashboard. Setup is done in a few clicks, with no code required.

Google Analytics 4 is Google’s free tool for analyzing your website traffic. With it, you understand where your visitors come from, what devices they use, and how they interact with your links.

  1. Access the desired redirector’s page.
  2. Click the Settings tab.
  3. Scroll to the Google Analytics 4 section.
  4. Click the Connect with Google button.

You’ll be redirected to Google’s login page to authorize access.

After authorizing access, you’ll be redirected back to the dashboard. Now:

  1. The system shows the GA4 properties available in your Google account.
  2. Select the property you want to use to track this redirector.
  3. Click Confirm.

After selection, the system configures everything automatically. Clicks on your redirector start being sent as events to GA4.

Tip: If you have multiple GA4 properties, choose the one where you already track your website or landing page metrics. This way, you centralize all data in one place.

The system automatically sends events to GA4 whenever someone clicks on your redirector. This includes:

  • Click event — registered on every link access
  • Device data — mobile, desktop, or tablet
  • Location — visitor’s country and city (when available)
  • UTM parameters — source, medium, campaign, and other tracking parameters

After configuring the integration, data starts appearing in GA4 within a few minutes:

  1. Access Google Analytics.
  2. Go to Real-time reports to see clicks happening now.
  3. Use Explore to create custom reports with redirector events.

No. GA4 integration is available on every plan.

Can I connect the same GA4 to multiple redirectors?

Section titled “Can I connect the same GA4 to multiple redirectors?”

Yes. Each redirector can have its own GA4 property or use the same property. Events from each redirector are sent separately.

Do I need to configure anything in Google Analytics?

Section titled “Do I need to configure anything in Google Analytics?”

No. The integration automatically creates the measurement protocol secret needed to send events. You only need to have a GA4 property already created.
