Connect WhatsApp and monitor participants

This page introduces the direct WhatsApp connection preview for the Scale plan.

Available only for testing

Direct connection does not appear in the production app yet. For now, use the 3, 6, or 12-hour intervals available in the Advanced section.

The instructions below show how the preview works in the testing environment.

Enable monitoring

1. Open the redirector you want and go to Settings.
2. Find the Participant updates section.
3. Choose the update frequency.
4. For instant mode, click Connect WhatsApp.

Connect your account

The system displays a QR code or pairing code. In WhatsApp, open Linked devices, choose to link a device, and follow the shown instructions. Wait for dashboard confirmation before closing the window.

You receive an email when your account connects and when it disconnects.

Choose a frequency

• Instant: updates information as it arrives from WhatsApp. It requires your account to be connected; updates are not guaranteed to be real time.
• Every 7 days: updates weekly and does not require your account connection.

Tip: Use instant mode during active launches. Weekly updates work well for more stable operations.

If your account disconnects

While your account is disconnected, the system keeps your instant-mode choice and automatically uses the every-7-days update. You receive an email reminder once a week until you reconnect your account.

After you reconnect WhatsApp, instant mode works again using the setting you had selected.
